Top 5 Reasons We Choose and Recommend MailChimp

Social media has become a huge part of marketing your business to the public, but email marketing is still a vital way to engage with your customer base. While a Tweet or an Instagram post might get a customer’s attention, an email communicates directly, offering news, special offers, and information that precisely targets their interests.

MailChimp has been providing email marketing services since 2001, and we know firsthand how helpful those services can be. Here are the top five reasons that we choose and recommend using MailChimp.

It’s easy to use.

With a user-friendly and adaptable interface, MailChimp is designed so people without a background in marketing or technology can create professional-looking emails that work exactly like they’re supposed to. Just choose a template and drag and drop to get everything just how you want it to look.

It’s free.

As long as you don’t need to serve more than 2,000 subscribers or send more than 10,000 emails a month, MailChimp has a totally free account option that’ll work for you. If you outgrow this level of service, all you have to do is upgrade to one of the paid plans, which start at $9.99 a month.

Amazing support (mostly)

While MailChimp’s customer service is friendly and helpful, the free plan only provides email support for the first 30 days. You do continue to get to access their extensive Knowledge Base with guides, articles, and tutorials, as well as a collection of marketing and technical terms and tips for as long as you want, but no direct customer support. Paid users, though, are provided with email and chat support 24/7.

Oh-so-useful features

Among the many features that make MailChimp such a big help are list segmentation, which lets you separate your subscriber list into groups so that your audience only gets emails that are relevant to them; scheduling, which lets you create your emails ahead of time and then schedule when you want messages sent; and reporting, which allows you to see which subscribers are opening your emails, which links they clicked, and other valuable insights.

It all fits together so well.

MailChimp is designed to integrate seamlessly with other apps and services you may use for marketing, such as Squarespace, social media, or Customer Relationship Management software (CRMs).

If you want to get and stay in contact with your customers, or target your current email list more effectively, or in any way initiate or improve your email marketing, MailChimp has exactly the services you need.
